For Every Time I Die fans, this holiday season didn’t feel quite right knowing that the band would not be bringing their annual ‘Tid The Season “Shitmas” festival to their hometown of Buffalo, NY. It is a tradition that has taken place on December 15 every year since 2017, giving the date the distinguished title of “Every Time I Die” day.

Living Dead Girl put on a no-frills Christmas acoustic performance with proceeds benefiting the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society in Peterborough, Ontario. Consisting of one half of Living Dead Girl—vocalist Rennick and guitarist John Ellis—playing a couple of acoustic versions of songs from the band’s upcoming album.

On Friday, December 11, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Greg Puciato broadcasted his pre-recorded “live stream” event, “Fuck Content,” which merges visual art, audio, interviews, live performance and studio footage together in an innovative way.

On Friday, October 23, Sevendust presented Live In Your Living Room streaming event, hosted by NoCap Live, LLC., to celebrate the release of its 13th full-length album, Blood & Stone. Since tours, festivals, and concerts have been cancelled due to the Coronavirus, Lamb of God decided to do the next best thing by hosting an exclusive global streaming headline performance broadcasted from a studio in Richmond, Virginia on Friday, September 18.

In Absentia Dei was performed at a church in Poland, the same church where Behemoth filmed the music video for “Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel.” This entire set was filmed in 4K and was absolutely beautiful. The concert also included an hour-long pre-show that featured a set from avant-garde metal band Imperial Triumphant performing at The Slipper Room Cabaret in New York City.

Godfathers of death metal, Poland’s Vader just wrapped up a month long tour of North America—their first here in almost three years. As luck would have it, it also happened to fall on big anniversaries of three of their most revered albums—De Profundis (25 years), Litany (20 years), and The Art of War (15 years), giving the band an excuse to bring out some deeper, older cuts on this run.

The lights dimmed and the energy of the crowd intensified with anticipation for the New England local, Great American Ghost. The band released their third LP Power Through Terror just 10 days before the show, giving fans plenty of time to learn every lyric.
