On August 27th, the Hella Mega Tour hit the Bay Area with The Interrupters, Weezer, Fall Out Boy, and hometown band Green Day. Due to the pandemic, this show had been rescheduled, but the wait was definitely worth it.

On August 11th, Portland rockers Red Fang were the next in line to host a livestreaming event, which was held at Mississippi Studios in Portland. 2021 has been a big year for Red Fang so far. Saturday’s stream focused on two more of Avatar’s lengthy catalog of albums, this time around being a set that moved fluidly back and forth between Black Waltz and Hail the Apocalypse. Both records explored everything from groove metal to death metal.
