“Old Man“ is REDDSTAR’s second single of the year and a good look of what’s in store on their upcoming full-length album, releasing late 2024.
“Mikey originally had the idea of covering this song a long time ago. Never have I listened to Neil Young prior I had to give it a listen and learn about the song to see how I can connect to the message and thankfully it was very easy. In our world success is a difficult thing to obtain in any aspect so when you are able to gain success at a younger age it feels like nothing else but luck. This song is not only powerful but humbling and reminds us to stay grounded and appreciate any all positive things that may happen in our lives. Once we added our friend Rainy to song as well it only took the music from being something that was big to a whole other massive entity that will definitely show the world the artistry and creativity of what was made amongst ourselves.” – Mikey (Guitar)
