Riding With Killers, a Detroit based alt/metal trio featuring current and ex-members of Taproot, Cathercist, Avalon Black, and Wild Fire, have announced the upcoming release of their new album Full Circle. Set for a December 9th release date, the group blends a fiery mix of 90s alt rock, industrial, and nu metal to create a sound that is a sonic assault while balancing things out with infectious choruses and memorable guitar riffs.

“Full circle is the result of the last five years of breaking down, building back, self discovery, coming to terms with the past, and pushing forward.

I didn’t know if I would ever get back to this point of releasing a full record after leaving my original band. I knew I wasn’t done with music but had no idea this is the capacity in which I would continue. It took a village of veteran musicians and friends, but we made it happen.

I was so fortunate to continue a 10 year working relationship with producer Matthew Laplant on this record. He’s always known how to push me and get things out of me like no one else has. He’s guided me so well on this journey of stepping into the vocal position and helping me shape my sound and voice. He helped me stand back up on my own two feet. I’m forever grateful for his friendship and guidance over the years. Thank you Matt.

To piggyback off of that, the musicians that performed on this record, my God…. I’m so grateful to have been surrounded by such amazing people who believe and wanted to contribute to the art. A huge shout out to Dave Coughlin, James Lascu, Tim Krukowski, George Mason, Cameron Alidor, and Devin Attard.

Thank you all for helping me shape my thoughts and feelings into music and words. It’s an absolute honor to create with all of you.

A special Thank you to Mark Papow of Lansbury Lane Studios for allowing us to use the space to create and record.

Everything comes back around and Full Circle is that next step for RWK. It’s the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another.

We’ll see you out there.”  Taylor Roberts / Riding With Killers

The 12 songs on Full Circle showcase the diverse range of guitarist/vocalist Taylor Roberts’ talent, and serves as a storytelling platform for many of the life challenges and successes he has endured over recent years. The lead track “Do This on My Own” and artwork (by Roberts) was inspired by a time he was lost on an island in the Bahamas, and he realized that if he didn’t have the tools to do things himself, he could be in quite the bad position. While on his adventures he snapped photos which became part of the artwork for the Full Circle release. Roberts also enlisted the help of friends Paul McCoy of 12 Stones (on “World Apart“) and Jennie Nord of Rave The Reqviem (on “In Silence“) for guest vocals.
