“Drive is a song about the struggle to stand up for yourself and leave a relationship that has become toxic. Sometimes we get trapped by possessions, people, and worry about what others will think. Sometimes you have to leave everything behind to save yourself,” says Clio Cadence. The video shows the struggle of staying with someone with a drinking problem. The happy times vs. the bad.

At just 18-years-old, Clio Cadence sees no genre boundaries and no barriers to her creativity. Taking influence from the likes of No Doubt and We Came as Romans, Cadence drops a hip-hop infused, metal sound, with an authentic rock ‘n’ roll vibe. Cadence is currently working on her debut album and has drafted in a suitably high profile and multi-faceted array of production talent, including Michael Orlando (Dead Girls Academy), Alex Asche (Dangerkids), and Kris Crummett (Sleeping With Sirens, Dance Gavin Dance, Issues).

Cadence emerges as one of the up-and-coming aspiring union of talent who not only transcends genre stereotypes, but also sees the future of the music industry as boundlessly fluid and unsegmented. Cadence’s already bubbling fan base continues to build, as does the anticipation of her as of yet untitled debut album.
