The GODMODE tour featured In This Moment, Kim Dracula, and Mike’s Dead, at the City National Grove of Anaheim. The venue was filled to the brim with passionate fans, and the energy in the air was electric.
The night began with Mike’s Dead, who started with an explosive set. They delivered hard-hitting beats and intense lyrics that got the crowd worked up and excited. Their performance was accentuated by their captivating stage presence, which had everyone on their feet.
Next up was Kim Dracula, who made a grand entrance from a coffin. His unique fusion of rock, hardcore, and punk had the audience bouncing with anticipation, their energy mirroring his own. His magnetic stage presence and electrifying energy kept the crowd engaged throughout his performance with “Drown,” “Make Me Famous,” and a fun cover of DEVO’s “Whip It.”
Finally, it was time for In This Moment to take the stage, and they did not disappoint. They delivered a theatrical performance that was truly breathtaking, with elaborate and bewitching outfits, mesmerizing choreography, and powerful hypnotic vocals. Their setlist included a mix of old favorites that are a must for the show, like “Sex Metal Barbie,” “Roots,” and “Whore,” while mixing in some new heavy-hitting tracks from the latest album, GODMODE.
The crowd sang along to every word through the industrial and dark riffs, making the experience even more memorable. Each track feels like a segment in a film. A huge thank you goes out to Maria Brink and the band—a fan passed out mid-set, and Maria, through the thick fog, saw this and immediately stopped the show to make sure the fan was receiving the help she needed. Maria has always been an artist committed to her fans, and tonight was more proof of how amazing she is.
