Globally acclaimed Japanese rock band BAND-MAID has unveiled the first details for the BAND-MAID WORLD TOUR 2026. The initial announcement includes the first wave of dates and venues across Japan, Asia, and Europe, alongside plans for North American performances in the United States and Mexico scheduled for October.
The North American leg marks their return to the continent since their 2023 tour, which included a historic appearance at Lollapalooza Chicago, making them the first Japanese band to play the festival since X JAPAN 13 years prior. For European fans, this will be the first solo tour since before the COVID-19 pandemic, making the entire global run one of the most highly anticipated tours worldwide.

The grand finale of the tour will feature a two-day concert at the legendary Nippon Budokan, fulfilling a long-held ambition following the cancellation of their 2021 performance due to the pandemic. The news of this long-awaited finale has been met with an overwhelming outpouring of joy and celebration from fans across the globe.
In a significant announcement, the band revealed that following the Nippon Budokan tour finale, they will enter a “short hiatus” from their “OKYU-JI” (live performance) activities. They describe this as a “recharge period for world domination,” during which members will continue creating music and gathering new influences, with a powerful return planned for 2028, their 15th-anniversary year.
“On the upcoming ’BAND-MAID WORLD TOUR 2026,’ we are channeling all of our deep gratitude for your incredibly warm support into every single performance,” said BAND-MAID in a collective statement. “We are sincerely looking forward to meeting all of you in various parts of the world.”
The first piece of tour artwork, featuring a design with a world map, has also been released, visually underscoring the massive global scale of BAND-MAID’s activities. Further artwork updates are expected with the second round of tour details.
In addition to the tour news, the live video of “Present Perfect” from the sold-out “BAND-MAID TOUR 2025” finale at Tokyo Garden Theater has been released. “Present Perfect” was the final song of the two-hour concert and was performed immediately after the “BAND-MAID WORLD TOUR 2026” announcement. The footage captures a strong performance concluding with SAIKI (vo) calling out to the audience, “Keep following us next year too!” a line that takes on added significance as the full scope of their global plan is revealed.
