On April 25, the new album, Hymns of Misanthropy, and the long-lost beast “Maltreated Mind Makes Man Manic” finally claws its way into the light—conceived in 1993, completed in 2024—and is seething with three decades of repressed fury. Guitarist/vocalist Anders Odden and drummer/vocalist Ole Bjerkebakke, the original architects of sonic chaos, reunite with Eilert Solstad on double bass to unleash a storm that has been brewing for decades.
