Globally acclaimed Japanese rock band BAND-MAID released their highly anticipated new EP SCOOOOOP on October 22, 2025.

In addition to “Present Perfect,” the EP also includes three tracks that thrilled anime fans throughout 2025: “Zen” (opening theme for MAPPA’s original anime ZENSHU), “Ready to Rock” (opening theme for Rock Is a Lady’s Modesty), and “What is justice?” (ending theme for TOUGEN ANKI). The exhilarating “Dilly Dally” takes listeners on a rollercoaster ride with musical twists and turns, while the EP’s instrumental track “Lock and Load” bursts with raw power and emotion, channeling BAND-MAID’s devotion to musicianship as a defining element of their sound. BAND-MAID has been appointed as the official ambassador for “Record Day 2025,” Japan’s largest annual vinyl celebration. To commemorate the occasion, three of their celebrated albums — Unseen World, Unleash, and Epic Narratives — will be released on vinyl for the first time on November 1 (Day 1). This marks BAND-MAID’s first-ever vinyl release. Each year, a prominent artist serves as the Record Day ambassador, with last year’s role held by ATARASHII GAKKO!
