It has been over 10 years since My Chemical Romance performed in Connecticut, last hitting the state in 2011 with Blink-182. Fans have been waiting for this night to come after a break up, a reunion, and the tour being postponed.

Memphis May Fire has hit the road with friends Ashes to New, Rain City Drive, and Wolves at the Gate, a combination of bands that, individually, make for a remarkable night, but together, leaves you gobsmacked that such an incredible show was even possible. 

Rise Against first played the Santa Barbara Bowl 18 years ago, and Santa Barbara welcomed them back with open arms. 

The venue was packed with barely any room to move through the crowd. Every single person was visibly happy to be there or relieved to be surrounded by incredible music, drinks, and vests covered in patches. John Henry (vocals), Nico Santora (lead guitar), Aaron Deal (bass), Mike Schleibaum (rhythm guitar), and Travis Orbin (drums) have hit the road to celebrate the 15 year anniversary of Darkest Hour’s album Deliver Us.

Most Tuesday nights are simple and uneventful, however Tuesday, June 14 was exciting for Hartford, Connecticut metal fans, as The Krewe Du Sang Tour featuring a lineup of VCTMS and Afterlife, and Louisiana’s own Cane Hill came to rock The Webster Underground. 

Pure mayhem. That is the only way to describe what occurred at The Webster Underground on Sunday, June 12. With a lineup of Bodybox, Vatican, hometown band Boundaries, and headliner Spite, fans were eager to get into the venue to begin their night of heavy music, friendship, and chaos. 

Pop punk fans were graced with a beautiful sunny day to celebrate New Found Glory’s 20 Years of Sticks & Stones festival held at The Palladium Outdoors. Two stages, merch, drinks, and food trucks filled what used to be just a parking lot.

There was no preparing for the pure chaos that occurred on Sunday at The Palladium Upstairs. This heavy metal lineup of Undeath, Frozen Soul, Bodysnatcher, Chelsea Grin, and headliner Dying Fetus sold out, as fans packed the venue to its brim.

Memorial Day weekend began on a heavy note, as the Back from the Gulag Tour featuring Brand of Sacrifice, Currents, Thy Art is Murder, and After the Burial made its way to The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The line outside the House of Blues was wrapping around the corner of the upper level of the Garden Walk. Fans were visibly excited to see Dorothy—a band from Los Angeles usually considered a post-grunge, bluesy rock band.
