INFLUENCES

Manowar: “Kings of Metal”

This beast of a song is the epitome of heavy metal for me—heavy as a dwarven Warhammer and a chorus made for hoarse-throated sing-alongs around the mead barrel. And the lyrics are gloriously over-the-top and ridiculous, in the best possible way. Epic with a capital everything. Honestly, it’s the perfect blueprint for a Warkings anthem. Prouder than a Roman in a mirror and just the right amount of madness.

King Diamond: “Sleepless Nights”

Everything about this song is forged to perfection. The atmosphere is darker than a dungeon at midnight, the storytelling sharp as a crusader’s blade, and all these great voices summoned by the one and only King Diamond. Every scream, whisper, and wail—pure sorcery! It’s the kind of song that turns a quiet tour bus ride into a full-blown séance. And yes, I will crash every party with it, again, and again, and again.

Amon Amarth: “Raise Your Horns”

Now that is Viking metal carved in stone and soaked in mead! One mighty riff that charges forward like a horde of axe-swinging maniacs and a voice straight from the throat of a berserker, the lyrics speak to every warrior and every shield maiden who’s ever lifted a horn in victory. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s loud, just the way we like it. That’s what we aim for, too—Warkings-style.

ESSENTIAL WARKINGS SONGS

Hephaistos” from Reborn

This beast has become one of our live anthems! It’s as heavy as the forge of the god of fire himself, hammered out with riffs hotter than a volcano on mead. And the chorus? Let’s just say, if you can still stand, you can still sing it, even if you’ve emptied your horn one too many times.

Sparta” from Revenge

This song is the spirit of the Warkings—heavy riffs that hit harder than a Spartan shield wall, growls straight from the depths of Hades, and a sing-along chorus that sticks in your head like a spear in the chest of your enemy.

Armageddon” from Armageddon

Heavy riffs forged in the fires of Ragnarök. A chorus so catchy, even Odin hums it in the shower. The mighty voice of our overeducated Tribune meets the dark magic of Morgana, and together they summon a storm. And just when you think you’ve survived…BAM! A power metal breakdown hits like Thor’s hammer and turns the mosh pit into a battlefield. Perfect for singing, screaming, and kicking your friends across the arena.
