SLEEPING WITH SIRENS’ Kellin Quinn Announces Solo Project HAUNTED MOUTHS

SLEEPING WITH SIRENS’ lead singer Kellin Quinn announces his new solo project HAUNTED MOUTHS and gives fans a taste of what’s to come with the melodic debut single “Further Til We Disappear.”

Atmospheric and quiet, with an almost dreamlike quality to it, the song serves as an introduction to a new era of songwriting for Quinn. Working alongside COPELAND frontman Aaron Marsh—who co-wrote and produced the new tracks—Quinn put together the forthcoming album “A Collection of Greetings,” releasing on February 14 via Rise Records.

The name of Quinn’s new endeavor pays homage to a cemetery near his childhood home, while the music itself serves as a sweeping romantic gesture to his wife, Katelynne. “That song mentions many of my wife’s favorite things and different things we share. The whole record is a love letter to her,” Quinn explained in a press release. “I didn’t want to make a pop album or an acoustic record. It needed to be dark, drony, haunting, but beautiful.”

Inspired by Julia Cameron’s 1992 self-help book, “The Artist’s Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity,” (a gift he received from SLEEPING WITH SIRENS’ Matty Best) Quinn penned a rough collection of 15 songs, which he then brought to Marsh’s home in Florida. The two worked together “without a hint of writer’s block” to create a diverse, dulcet soundscape unlike anything Quinn has previously put out.

“Further Til We Disappear” is available now on all streaming platforms. “A Collection of Greetings” will feature 10 tracks, including “Becoming Nameless,” “Searching For Fire,” and “You Built This.”
