Italian multi-genre producer, musician, and vocalist Becko, teams up with post-hardcore artist Tired Violence in the new emo, rock single “REB00T MYSELF.”
As the seventh installment of his upcoming 90s inspired concept album Present Day // Present Time, “REB00T MYSELF” continues the ominous trek through one man’s mind in a future dystopian society that’s running into the ground. An enigmatic fusion of post-hardcore, rock, metal, and alternative, with emo thrown in the mix, the track showcases Becko’s talents as a producer with finely tuned brutal vocals intertwined with synthesizers, drums, and thrashing guitars for an aggressive yet introspective soundscape.
Featuring a screaming vocal performance from Tired Violence layered over Becko’s own combative vocals and lyrics, “REB00T MYSELF” is a journey of rebuilding, remaking, and restoring.
“As a lot of this concept album Present Day // Present Time, the song is a deep conversation with the inside self,” explains Becko. “It’s when you understand that you need to change to be a better you, and you will follow into the darkness to destroy your personality and re-create a new self like you are a robot or a machine, rebooting yourself.”
