LIVE REVIEW AND PHOTOGRAPHS BY ANTHONY FRISKETTI

Kicking off the night with their dark energy was New York Cities Black Satellite. The mix of industrial and metal sounds fusing wonderfully with such a powerful and melodic female voice got the crowd exited and was a great start to the evening.

Up next, and continuing with the theme was Infected Rain. With such a mix of Melodic and heavy metal vocals Lena brought the crowd to a frenzy. Stopping only briefly between songs to address the audience with inspirational words. The crowd was great mix of genders, mainly due to Black Satellite and Infected Rain’s powerful front women. Both sending powerful messages to the women in the audience, you could feel the positivity.

Third on the bill, bringing their melodic metal to Dingbatz of New Jersey, was Gemini Syndrome. Their dark, almost pitch black light show added to eerie vibe. Many in the crowd may have recognized Guitarist, and Coal Chamber member, Miguel “Meegs” Rascón. After properly warming the crowd up, to sweat, it was time for the main event…

After the final set change and the lights came on, the creeps the crowd had been waiting for took to the stage, Wednesday 13 and his Ghoul Scouts. Now this would prove to be no ordinary Wednesday 13 show, not that that would be a bad thing in the slightest. This however, would be Wednesday himself, along with former Murderdolls members Roman Surman, and Jack Tankersley (who are current members of Wednesday 13, along with Troy Doebbler, and Mike Dupke) performing a full Murderdolls set.

Hitting the crowd with a barrage of classic from 2002’s Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls, as well as 2012’s Women and Children Last. The band was in top form, nailing every note as if with a sledgehammer. Not only did they sound and look great, but the fun the band was having was contagious. The set was a wonderful tribute to fallen icons in the scene Joey Jordison and Ben Graves.
