Japanese rock band BAND-MAID has released their new single “ENERGETIC,” a high-velocity new track that captures the band’s relentless forward motion as they continue to expand their global reach. The official music video for the single is now available on the band’s YouTube channel.

Driven by a danceable beat and a sense of unstoppable speed, “ENERGETIC” reveals a fresh side of BAND-MAID while staying true to the hard-hitting sound that has earned them a devoted worldwide following. The single also includes two coupling tracks, “Days” and “CAGE,” making the release a dynamic three-song package that showcases different facets of the band’s identity.
On the title track “ENERGETIC,” BAND-MAID vocalist SAIKI says:
“The bass-driven BAND-MAID track you’ve been waiting for is finally here. From the very first notes of the intro, there’s so much to listen for! Once this track kicks in, I think you’ll find yourself moving before you know it. Sing with us, dance with us, and let’s make music together with BAND-MAID!”
The newly released music video is deeply connected to the single’s artwork concept, which draws on the idea of sugoroku, a traditional Japanese board game. Following the structure of the game, the video takes BAND-MAID on a symbolic journey across the globe, reflecting on the band’s path so far while revisiting countries and regions that have been part of their story.
The video also nods to the band’s long-standing ambition of World Domination, presenting both their history and their next chapter as part of one continuous journey. In its closing moments, the clip captures the members smiling in a way rarely seen in past BAND-MAID’s music videos, giving the release an emotional sense of optimism and shared momentum with their fans, known as Masters and Princesses.
The release of “ENERGETIC” comes amid BAND-MAID WORLD TOUR 2026, an extensive tour spanning approximately eight months. The tour began on March 20 in Hong Kong and has already seen sold-out shows across Japan and Europe, including performances in Kanagawa, Miyagi, Tokyo, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Paris and London. Additional dates continue through Asia and Japan, with North America and Mexico scheduled for October.
The tour will conclude with a major two-night finale at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on November 13 and 14, 2026. A new official ticket pre-sale for November shows, including the Budokan dates, begins on June 24.
With more than 270 million total views on YouTube, over 40 million views across fan reaction videos, sold-out international tours, major festival appearances and a rapidly growing global presence, BAND-MAID continues to stand as one of Japan’s most compelling rock exports.
